Wow what a night! Where should I begin? So many great moments at this place! The name of the place definately suits the experience. Tafoyas Lost Boyzz are going to have a lot of fond memories playing here!
Well lets start out how the evening progressed. The Band went on at 9:00 pm, and kicked ass right from the beginning. The crowd was really into it right from the start. Andy from the band Paradox had heard that Tafoya was playing this venue, and remembered him from the strong rock and roll scene from back in the day, here in Chicago. Great to meet you Andy, we shall have to drink again! Also gotta thank the beautiful bartender behind the bar. What a professional and gracious host she is as well.
The whole evening consisted of playing the Blues. Michael Tafoya (Lead Guitarist), Eric Osland (Bass), and Chris McCoy (drums), really read the crowd well. The Lost Boyzz gave them what they wanted, and that was some good kick ass in your face Blues Rock and Roll!
The Lost Boyzz continued to play for 5 1/2 hours, performing four sets of great tunes from their catalogue. I was highly impressed with the band, and the crowd could not help themselves from saying how great this band was.
Tafoyas Lost Boyzz will be back , on Saturday February 10th, to play a second gig at this great place that is called Memories, right in the middle of the best city in the world, that is known as Chicago, Illinois.
Next time this place is gonna be even better than the first. But until then, we will have to live off these great memories that we had this night!
